What problems does the automated gearbox of the Fiat 500 have?

The automated or semi-automatic gearbox of the Fiat 500 has three main issues related to oil leaks that can be fixed on their own. Oil leaks are almost always caused by poor maintenance, which can block the gearbox robot. When you perform maintenance on your car once a year, we recommend suggesting to your mechanic to check the condition of the gearbox oil. However, the biggest issue is the loss of synchronization, which is due to the fact that the selector encounters a blockage or is unable to press the clutch properly. In these cases, it may be necessary to replace the gearbox robot if the problem occurs too frequently. In some situations, however, the issue may be with the clutch, in which case simply replacing it should suffice.

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level.
