The main cause is the "teeth" that deform, reducing the clamping force: in fact, the clutch disc and the flywheel are still in good condition. The solution is to replace the complete clutch kit: disc, pressure plate, flywheel, and pilot bearing. The work required to replace these parts is very demanding, as the YouTuber shows that it is necessary to disassemble half the car, such as the front bumper, particulate filter, front subframe, and drive shafts. It is clear that this problem - known on the 1.6 diesel engines of the Fiat 500X and Jeep Renegade - is not at all a DIY job, and the bill from the mechanic, which will amount to several hundred pounds, is fully justified.
