In this video, you can see how to reset the fuel inertia switch on a Fiat Ducato. The YouTuber experienced a situation where, after a rather abrupt manoeuvre, the engine started to lose power and the vehicle came to a stop. Fortunately, they were not on the motorway, otherwise it would have been a serious issue. The inertia switch had activated, but if you do not know what caused the problem, you could be stuck for hours. In reality, resetting it is very simple if you know how to do it. The reset switch is located on the passenger side and can be reached with a finger; press it down until you hear a slight click, and you can continue your journey, although a warning light will remain illuminated on the dashboard, which can be cleared with an inexpensive EOBD reader. The OBD port is located in a small compartment near the steering wheel. Look for the error code P0190 and erase it.
