To replace the starter motor of a Ford Fiesta, start by disconnecting the battery to avoid short circuits. Lift the vehicle with a jack and secure it with jack stands. Locate the starter motor, which is usually near the gearbox. Disconnect the power cables connected to it and remove the screws that hold it to the engine block. Removing the starter motor requires some maneuvering, given the tight space. Once removed, place the new starter motor and securely tighten the bolts. Reconnect the electrical cables, lower the vehicle, and reconnect the battery. Start the engine to ensure that everything is working properly.
