How to Replace the Oil Filter on the Ford Galaxy

Model: Ford Galaxy MK 2 - Years 2006-2015

To perform this routine operation every so many miles will only take a few minutes. After lifting your vehicle and placing it on suitable stands, you can remove the lower engine cover to gain easy access to the oil sump plug. Prepare a suitable container to collect the oil that will drain from the sump. Once you finish draining the oil, you can replace the plug. Now, you can also replace the filter located under the upper engine cover. Install the new filter and refill the engine with new oil.
