How to replace the spark plugs of the Ford Fiesta

Today we will explain how to replace the spark plugs of the Ford Fiesta model mk5. To replace the spark plugs, we need to lift the front hood of the car and cover it with a cloth and microfiber to avoid damaging the bodywork during the replacement. Disconnect the air intake hose from the air filter housing. Disconnect the hose clamp of the air intake hose using clamps. Remove the sleeve and unscrew the fastening bolts of the filter housing, using a 10mm wrench. Disconnect the engine crankcase ventilation hose from the engine cover on the left. After removing the filter, cover the hoses to prevent dust and dirt from getting inside during the work. Remove the spark plug connectors from their holes. Using a 16mm spark plug socket, unscrew the spark plugs. Remove the spark plugs, being careful to remember their order, and apply a layer of high temperature anti-seize lubricant to the threads of the new spark plugs before inserting them. Screw in the new spark plugs, tightening to a torque of 15 Nm. Install the spark plug connectors in the spark plug holes and proceed with the installation of the air filter housing. Screw in the bolts and reconnect the engine crankcase ventilation hose to the engine cover. Install the air intake sleeve and reconnect the intake hose.
