In this video we can see where some very important components are located on our Ford Transit MK7: we start with the battery, which is located under the driver's seat, inside the cabin: to access it we simply need to move the driver's seat all the way forward, and under it we find the battery, from which we must first disconnect the negative pole, then the positive pole and finally remove the fixing bracket. In the van there are also two fuse boxes: the first is located inside the engine compartment, on the right side of it, looking at the vehicle from the front. The second is instead located inside the cabin, behind the glove box, which is removed by pressure: here we find a box with a cover that houses other fuses. Finally, to find the EOBD port, we must remove the partition that covers the steering column: we will find it immediately to the left of it.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
