How do you disassemble the EGR valve in the Ford Focus 1.6 TDCi?

The EGR valve is a device installed in car engines, with the purpose of recovering a percentage of exhaust gases and injecting them into the intake manifold of the engine, in order to reduce harmful emissions. Over time, this tends to accumulate carbon residues, causing it to stop working as it should, so the only solution is to disassemble it and clean it. Regarding the Ford Focus, here is how to do the job: Open the hood, remove the windshield wipers and the protective strip underneath them, and locate the EGR valve, located near the windshield. Remove the inlet and outlet pipes, disconnect the power cable connector, and remove the locking pins.
