When the oil light activates on a Ford Fiesta or Ford Focus, it is necessary to perform an oil replacement. The steps to follow are: - press the brake and accelerator pedals while turning on the instrument panel; - keep the pedals pressed until the message "reset completed" appears on the display; - turn off and on the instrument panel to complete the reset. Other Ford vehicles from 2012-2015 follow the same steps. This procedure should only be done after performing an oil change, resetting the light alone will not solve the problem.
