How to replace the battery of the Ford Transit remote control

Today we will explain how to replace the battery located inside the key of a Ford Transit vehicle. To replace the battery, we need to insert a flat-tip screwdriver into the top hole and, applying slight pressure inward, remove the key cover. Using the flat-tip screwdriver, push the battery outwards and insert the new one using the CR 2032 3-volt model. Close the remote control cover and make sure the key works correctly by testing it on the vehicle. If it does not work, it may be necessary to reprogram the key.
