How to disassemble the driver's side airbag of the Ford Focus

Today we will explain how to remove the deployed airbag from the Ford Focus. The airbag we will be removing is the driver's side one, located inside the steering wheel. To remove the airbag, we need to use a small flat-head screwdriver. First, push the right lever located on the back of the steering wheel, and then the left lever to remove the central body containing the airbag. Before removing it, disconnect the connector; even if the airbag has been deployed and needs to be replaced, it is still important to perform this operation only after disconnecting the battery.
