How to Remove the Door Lock on Ford Fiesta

Learn how to remove the right front door lock on a Ford Fiesta: disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay, use a screwdriver to unscrew the screws in the upper lever space of the door opening and the screws in the handle (after removing the plastic screw covers). Remove the plastic covering above the handle, unscrew the remaining screws on the door panel and detach the retaining clips. Pull the panel away with your hands and unclip it from the door (disconnect the power wiring and the opening cable). Remove the adhesive covering and unscrew the handle and lock as shown in the video with the appropriate tool; replace the lock and reassemble everything in reverse order.
