When the oil light comes on in the instrument panel of a Ford C Max vehicle, it means that an oil change is needed. Resetting the light after replacing the engine oil is simple and quick to do independently. Turn on the instrument panel and press the brake pedal while holding down the BC button on the steering wheel to start the service light reset. Once the reset is complete, restart the instrument panel. It will take about 20 seconds to complete the reset.
