How to replace the brake and rear light bulbs on the Ford C-Max.

This is an operation that may require some patience because the attachments can be stubborn. Let's open the trunk and remove the carpet panel from the side of the headlight we want to replace. Behind the panel, we will find plastic butterfly screws that need to be unscrewed, which will allow us to remove the entire headlight assembly, although it may be stuck due to the seals; we will therefore need to pull it out from the outside with some determination. Disconnect the electrical connector; on the back of the headlight, we will find pressure plastic clips so that the outer lens can be detached. Locate the dual-filament brake/position bulb, which needs to be turned 1/4 turn counterclockwise. Insert the new bulb without touching it with bare hands and turn it clockwise. Reattach the outer lens, press so that all the clips snap back into place, reconnect the electrical connector, push the headlight assembly back into its housing, screw in the two butterfly screws, and replace the cover panel.
