How to reset the service light on the Ford Ranger

Let's see how to reset the service light on a Ford Ranger after the oil and filter change. The engine must be off. We turn on the instrument panel and wait about 10 seconds without doing anything. Now we need to perform a combination of pedals: press and hold the accelerator pedal and the brake pedal down at the same time. Keep them pressed for 25/30 seconds: during this time, observe the instrument panel. We should see the oil light start to flash, and as confirmation, the word "reset" may appear or the percentage of oil life starts to rise. At this point, release both pedals and turn off the car. The light is reset.
