How to Reset the Service Light on a Ford C-Max

Model: Ford C Max MK 2 - Years 2010-2019

To reset the oil light on a Ford C-Max, turn on the ignition without starting the engine: the display will show "oil change required" or the oil light will illuminate. At this point, press the brake and accelerator pedals simultaneously and firmly. While holding them down, the display will show a message indicating that the service reset is in progress, and the oil light may start to flash. Continue holding until you see the message "oil service reset completed" or until the oil light turns off. You can then release the pedals and turn off the ignition.
