Adjusting the Handbrake on Ford EcoSport

Position yourself at the front right wheel and remove the bolts, as shown in the video. Lower the handbrake inside the cabin. Then remove the wheel, take off the wheel hub, and use a lubricant on the brake disc to clean it thoroughly and lubricate it. With a flathead screwdriver, leverage to adjust the handbrake pressure; it is essential that the wheel lock is adequately cleaned. This can be done with a specific spray or with a cloth and a brush. Once this is done, reassemble everything and check the play of the handbrake lever inside the cabin.
