How to Reset the Service Light on the Ford C-Max

Let's see how to reset the service light on a Ford C-Max. Turn on the ignition without starting the engine, just the ignition on. Press the brake pedal and the accelerator at the same time, holding them both for 15/20 seconds, or until the message "service reset in progress" appears. Subsequently, the message "reset completed" will appear. Only now can you release the pedals. The service light has been successfully reset. This procedure is valid for all C-Max models up to around 2018. If the message indicating that the reset is in progress does not appear, then you need to go to the menu: settings/vehicle settings/oil status and confirm with "ok".
