How to Reset the Oil Change Light on a Ford Custom

There are two methods to reset the service light on a Ford Transit Custom: using the steering wheel controls on the right side, turn on the ignition and enter the "menu". Look for "vehicle settings" and then select "oil life". At this point, simply press and hold the "ok" button for a few seconds, and the display will show "reset completed". If your model does not have a display (or if the first method fails), you can try the classic Ford pedal combination method: turn on the ignition and press the accelerator and brake pedals simultaneously to the floor for 25 seconds. Release and remove the key, then restart to check that the light has disappeared.
