Solution for Clogged DPF and AdBlue Warning Light on a 2020 Ford Transit

On a 2020 Ford Transit 2.0 TDCi, the engine warning light appeared along with the message "Exhaust filter over limit" and a flashing AdBlue light with reduced range: a serious situation. The diagnosis revealed a completely clogged particulate filter (222% load!) and a deteriorated engine oil code. The first step was to reset the oil light, but the DPF code remained. A static regeneration of the DPF was then initiated using the diagnostic tool, which took about 40 minutes with the engine idling. During regeneration, the exhaust gas temperature reached 665°C, burning off the accumulated particles. The AdBlue light turned off and the codes became "not present". Once completed, the codes were cleared and the vehicle returned to normal operation. An effective regeneration requires proper tools and time.
