In this tutorial, you can see how to remove the rear door panel on the Ford Explorer, an extremely simple and quick operation. First, open the door you will be working on, then locate the two screws along the lower edge of the panel and unscrew them with a 7mm socket. Next, remove the two small covers inside the handles, unscrew the bolts just exposed with a 10mm spanner, and unclip the cover of the rear pillar. At this point, simply separate the panel from the door by prying along the perimeter and disconnect both the window regulator connector and the lock cable.
