In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the diesel filter in the Ford Kuga, a very simple and quick operation. First, ensure that the engine is cool enough, then open the bonnet, locate the filter in question, and disconnect both the sensor connector and all the fuel hoses.

Next, unscrew the retaining bolts using a Torx T30 key, remove the filter from the housing, and transfer the top plate to the replacement. At this point, simply insert the new filter and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure.
