Replacing the Timing Belt on a Ford Focus

The engine air filter must be replaced periodically. Here’s how to replace it on a Ford Focus. Pull up the engine bay release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the front bonnet, securing it with the prop rod. Remove the air hose, then open the container (unscrew the securing screws) and extract the worn air filter. Insert a new filter into the designated housing (ensuring it fits snugly around the edges). Finally, refit the plastic cover of the filter and reconnect the previously removed air hose. Lower the bonnet.
