Removing the Rear Bumper on Ford Focus

Replacing the damaged bumper mounted at the rear of a Ford Focus? Here’s how to remove it. Open the tailgate and detach the seal from the edge of the bumper frame. Unscrew the securing bolts located at the top of the bumper. Unscrew the screws located at the bottom of the bumper, then remove the screws located at the sides of the wheel arch liners. Once the bumper is free from any screws or bolts, grip it with your hands and pull it away from the bodywork (disconnect any wiring harnesses). Fit the new bumper onto the car's bodywork. Screw in all the screws and refit the seal.
