Removing the Radio from a Ford Mondeo

Removing the head unit from a Ford Mondeo? Here’s how to take it out from the central console. Remove the covering plastics located above the central tunnel and on the sides of the radio.

Unscrew the securing screws on the sides of the stereo. Use the original metal release keys to remove the stereo.

Insert the keys into the slots on the sides of the plastic covering of the stereo. Pull the stereo towards you (as shown in the video), extract the head unit while being careful of the various wiring (disconnect the power connectors and the antenna cable).

Install the original head unit in the central console, connect the electrical terminals and screw in with the screws.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat. Be careful of any electrical cables or components that may be connected to the seat during removal. Once the rear seat is removed, the disassembly is complete.
