Removing the Radio from a Ford Mondeo

Removing the head unit from a Ford Mondeo? Here’s how to take it out from the central console. Remove the covering plastics located above the central tunnel and on the sides of the radio. Unscrew the securing screws on the sides of the stereo. Use the original metal release keys to remove the stereo. Insert the keys into the slots on the sides of the plastic covering of the stereo. Pull the stereo towards you (as shown in the video), extract the head unit while being careful of the various wiring (disconnect the power connectors and the antenna cable). Install the original head unit in the central console, connect the electrical terminals and screw in with the screws.
