DIY Air Conditioning Recharge

To recharge the air conditioning gas, you need to remove the right front wheel arch liner to access the charging port. There are commercially available cans containing refrigerant gas equipped with a hose to connect to the charging port: once the hose is connected to the can, attach it to the charging port and open the valve while holding the can upside down to facilitate the gas flow. In reality, it is advisable to have the recharge done by a specialised workshop equipped with the appropriate equipment capable of vacuuming and recovering the gas, assessing the correct amount of gas to refill, as well as adding oil to the compressor.
