Replacing the Front Headlight Bulb

Model: Ford Mondeo / Fusion MK 2 - Years 2000-2007

To replace the front headlight bulb, you first need to remove the front grille, then pull out the retaining tabs of the headlight and remove it from its housing by disconnecting the connector attached to it. At this point, unscrew the screws securing the plastic cover behind the headlight, which will come off along with the ignition unit, disconnect the connector attached to the bulb, unclip the retaining ring, and extract the bulb from its housing; then fit the new bulb (avoid touching the glass with your hands), secure it by reapplying the retaining ring, connect the power connector, and reposition the cover. Also replace the side indicator bulb (T5 fitting). Then reassemble the headlight in its housing.
