Ford Focus Brake Pad Removal

Let's look at removing the front brake pads on a Ford Focus. Remove the wheel to access the front brake caliper. Lift the vehicle on a column lift (jack) to the desired height, then remove the wheel with the respective bolts. Unscrew the locking bolt of the brake caliper and remove it from the wheel support. Use a screwdriver to remove the pads to be replaced from the wheel hub caliper, then remove the brake caliper. Install the new disc and new pads onto the caliper. Tighten all bolts and refit the wheel. Start the vehicle and test the brake pedal pressure.
