Replacing the Thermostat on Ford Fusion

Model: Ford Fusion MK 1 - Years 2002-2012

Lift the bonnet and insert the support rod. If you are unsure where the thermostat (or thermostat valve) is, watch the video where it is clearly indicated. As you can see, it is located at the junction of two pipes that you will need to disassemble by removing the metal clips securing them. Unscrew the 8 mm screws with a socket spanner and remove the thermostat valve. Install the new one you purchased by reversing the process, starting by securing it with the three 8 mm screws. The thermostat part number for this car model is 34044.
