Replacing the camshaft sensor on a Ford Focus 1.6i 16V

Model: Ford Focus MK 1 - Years 1998-2004

Today, you will learn how to remove the camshaft speed sensor on a Ford Focus 1.6i 16 valve, first series. First, open the bonnet of your car and remove the four spark plug leads from the ignition coil; then unscrew the securing screws using a T25 Torx key, disconnecting the electrical connector. At this point, disconnect the electrical connector of the camshaft sensor and unscrew the securing bolt to remove it, as shown in the video. Now you can replace it with the new one and reassemble everything by following the reverse procedure!
