Removing the Lock on Ford Transit

Model: Ford Transit MK 8 - Years 2014-2024

Open the door and use a small flat screwdriver to remove the side cover. Then, undo the Torx T20 screw inside. Once done, the outer part of the lock will come out of its housing. At this point, you can also remove the internal handle and the two small plastic trims. Before removing the internal and main part of the lock, you need to take off the panel, which is a simple task shown in other tutorials. Move the internal plastic cover and carefully pry with a flat screwdriver until you extract the lock cylinder. Good luck!
