Removing the Speedometer on Ford C-Max

Model: Ford C Max MK 1 - Years 2003-2010
Part: Instrument cluster

Remove the plastic cover behind the steering wheel by unscrewing the relevant screws. Using a Torx screwdriver, unscrew the screws that are now visible and secure the instrument cluster. Gently move the speedometer to slowly pull it out of its housing. Be aware that it must be pulled out from the top. Use a plastic lever (not metal!) to assist without scratching the plastics. Once the instrument cluster is out, disconnect the connector by pressing down on the tab with a flat screwdriver and pulling up the lever. Fit the new speedometer by reversing the process.
