To replace the remote battery of the Ford Transit, use an object, such as a small screwdriver, to pry inside the groove that separates the top part with the key from the bottom part. Once the part with the key is removed, open the two halves of the remote by prying with the same object in the groove that separates them. This will allow you to access the battery inside, remove it from its housing, and replace it. After installing the new battery, reassemble the parts that make up the remote.
