Resetting the Trip Meter on Ford Focus

Model: Ford Focus MK 2, Focus 2 - Years 2004-2011

First, insert the ignition key into the designated slot and turn it to power on the instrument cluster (there's no need to start the engine). Using the buttons on the left stalk of the steering wheel, where you will see the word "menu", scroll through the various sections of the instrument cluster menu. It doesn't matter whether you press the up or down arrow; the important thing is to reach the trip meter section. Once you are on that option, press the "reset" text to the left of the "menu" button, and you’re done: the trip meter has been reset.
