Battery Change on Ford Key

For this key, you will need to purchase a CR2025S battery (it costs a few pounds). Using the designated button, open the key casing to access the manual key part. With a small flat screwdriver, pry open the casing at the joint. Then, using the same small screwdriver, pry under the small battery to remove it from its holder. Replace it by inserting the new battery you purchased and close the casing simply by pressing and securing the clips. As you can see, this is a very simple operation that costs almost nothing.
