In this tutorial, you will see how to remove the ignition cylinder on a Ford, a very simple and quick operation. First, enter the cabin, then insert the key and turn it to the "RUN" position.

Once done, locate the hole beneath the steering column, insert a thin screwdriver into it, and push firmly to release the retaining clip of the cylinder. Next, grasp the key, pull it outwards, and remove the cylinder.

To install the replacement, simply insert it into the housing.
