How to Replace the Starter Motor Cylinder on a Ford F350

The starter motor cylinder is typically a component that does not require periodic maintenance. However, it can malfunction or break, necessitating replacement. Contrary to what one might think, this is a rather simple task that takes only a few minutes to complete. Before starting, disconnect the battery to avoid any risk. Using a flat screwdriver or a specific wrench, unscrew the bolt located just below the starter motor. Pull the cylinder outward and remove it completely. Replace it with the new model and insert it into the correct position. Reattach the bolt. Finally, reconnect the battery.
