Instructions for Spark Plug Replacement

Model: Ford Mondeo / Fusion MK 2 - Years 2000-2007

It is recommended to perform this maintenance with the engine cold; once the front bonnet is opened, the spark plugs are located right at the front of the engine. Disconnect the connectors attached to the ignition coils, blow compressed air around the spark plug seats to prevent dirt residues from entering the cylinders; unscrew the fastening screws of the ignition coils and extract them complete with spark plugs; blow again with compressed air and remove the spark plugs; finally, insert the new spark plugs without exceeding the torque, push the leads in fully, tighten the respective fastening screws, and reconnect the connectors.

To replace the rear light and bulbs on a Ford Focus 2000/2004, first, open the tailgate of the boot. This gives access to the screw that holds the rear light in place. The screw to undo (using an appropriate screwdriver) is located inside the light and corresponds to the fold that accommodates the tailgate (as shown in the images). Once you start to undo it, continue with the operation and then remove the nut from the inside of the bodywork.
