How to remove and replace the spark plugs on Ford Focus? Here's how to proceed: open the engine compartment and lift the bonnet, secure it, and disconnect the battery terminals. Remove the soundproofing panel covering the engine, then remove the coils on the cylinder head with a screwdriver or pliers; next, unscrew the spark plugs with a socket wrench and pull them out of the cylinder head. Take the new spark plugs and guide them into the cylinder head with the extension of the socket wrench, tighten them and reconnect the power coils to each spark plug with the new connectors. Finally, close the bonnet and test the correct operation by starting the car.
