Resetting the oil service on the Ford Focus ST, as shown in this tutorial, is an extremely simple and quick operation. Before proceeding, ensure that all scheduled maintenance work has been completed.

Start by inserting the key and turning on the ignition, not the engine, then clear any alerts on the display and press the accelerator and brake pedals simultaneously. At this point, hold both pedals for about 30 seconds, or until the message "Service: Oil reset complete" appears.
