How to Reset the Service Light on the Ford Focus?

Model: Ford Focus MK 2, Focus 2 - Years 2004-2011

To reset the Service light on the Ford Focus, turn on the instrument cluster by turning the appropriate key without starting the engine. Once done, press and hold the accelerator and brake pedals simultaneously for about 20 seconds: this will display the message "Service: Oil reset in prog." Continue holding the pedals until the message "Service: Oil reset complete" appears. You can then switch off and restart the instrument cluster to verify the reset.
