Replacing the Battery in the Ford Explorer MK5

In this video, you will learn how to remove and replace the battery of the fifth series Ford Explorer in simple steps. First, open the bonnet from the inside and remove the plastic cover of the battery (if present); then use a 10 mm socket spanner to unscrew the bolts of the battery terminals (positive and negative), as illustrated in the video. Next, unscrew the two bolts of the central battery bracket using the same spanner; lift upwards and replace the battery with a new one of the correct type and with the same amperage!
