To replace the oil pump on a Ford Focus, you need to lift the car, as this component is located at the bottom of the engine bay, on the timing belt side. The pump can then be removed by unscrewing the bolts that secure it to its housing and disconnecting the oil passage pipes; once the old pump is removed, you can fit the new one, securing it with the bolts and connecting it to the appropriate pipes.
