In many cases, using gasket sealant can be useful and effective: it is generally a one-component silicone elastomer, capable of withstanding particularly harsh conditions of temperature, pressure, and resistance to solvents, lubricating fluids, and mechanical stress. The product is specific for sealing the oil sump of engines. Once the surfaces are cleaned, open the tube of sealant, pierce the sealing film, apply the appropriate nozzle, and cut the tip to allow the sealant to flow out; use the special key to squeeze the tube evenly to avoid waste.
