Before fully removing the bolt, place a large container underneath to catch the old oil. Still under the vehicle, use another spanner to remove the oil filter, placing a container to catch any oil that may spill. Now, insert the new oil filter, ensuring there are no leaks. Refit the oil reservoir cap bolt. Next, open the bonnet and remove the oil filler cap, pour in the new oil, and replace the cap.
