Let’s go through the procedure necessary to replace the engine oil and oil filter on the Ford Ecosport during routine maintenance. First, lift the vehicle and start unscrewing the oil drain bolt located on the sump using a socket spanner; allow the oil to drain into a container for about ten minutes.

Next, unscrew the oil filter using the appropriate tool, located near the radiator hoses; replace the cartridge with a new one and finally pour in the new oil!
