Today, we will look at how to perform routine maintenance by changing the engine oil and oil filter on a Ford Ecosport 2.0L. First, raise the vehicle and start by unscrewing the oil drain bolt located on the sump, allowing the oil to drain into a container for about ten minutes; then unscrew the oil filter cartridge, gently screwing in and tightening the new one. At this point, unscrew the filler cap and top up with new engine oil that meets the correct specifications, checking the level with the dipstick.
