How do you change the engine oil in a Ford Ecosport? This is a simple operation if you follow the correct steps. Lift the car on a column lift, use a socket spanner to unscrew the oil sump bolt, allowing the liquid to drain into a disposal container, then refit the oil sump bolt. Lower the vehicle to the ground and lift the bonnet, securing it. Remove the oil filter and the air filter (located in the engine bay). Finally, fit the new filters and top up with the new oil. Check the fluid levels at the end of the maintenance.
