To replace the battery on a Ford C-Max, open the boot to access the luggage compartment. Here, lift the carpet that serves as flooring to loosen the screws securing the underlying plastic panel. Once this panel is removed, you can access the battery located on the right side: disconnect the terminals attached to it and unscrew the securing bolts to extract it. After removal, insert a new battery by reassembling all the removed components.
