How to replace the timing belt on a Ford S-Max?

To replace the timing belt on the Ford S-Max, open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the left side of the engine block, you will locate the cover of the camshaft pulleys, which needs to be removed. Once this cover is removed, you can loosen the bolts securing the right front wheel, removing it in turn and detaching the inner cover of its wheel arch: this will allow you to loosen the central nut of the crankshaft pulley, reducing the tension on the belt, which can then be removed and replaced.
